CSIRO is seeking an experienced SAP Senior Technical Consultant to provide strategic direction, security, and technical design expertise for SAP systems. You will configure, monitor, tune, and troubleshoot the SAP technical environment while managing the administration and integration of the Employee Self-Service portal with backend systems, including SAP ECC, SAP SRM, SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Business Objects, and SAP Analytics Cloud. Optimising security roles and user administration across SAP platforms and contribute to the overall SAP solution architecture, reviewing and designing future-state landscapes.

As part of the SAP Solutions Team, you will work closely with Finance, People stakeholders, and IM&T staff to design and develop systems that support key projects. You will play a vital role in creating a seamless systems experience across the organisation while leveraging data and insights to develop solutions that align with best practices and business needs.

Your duties will include:

Technical:

  • Administer and monitor SAP Netweaver 7.5 Portal java systems.
  • Design, administer and enhance Employee Self Service and Manager Self Service functionality in SAP Netweaver Portal, including integration with backend systems such as SAP ECC, SAP SRM, SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Business Objects and SAP Analytics Cloud.
  • Familiarity with current UI technologies such as WebDynpro ABAP, and emerging technologies such as Fiori and Screen Personas.
  • Responsibility for SAP UI components hosted in the Citrix environment including SAP Netweaver Portal and SAPGUI.
  • Broad cross-functional understanding of ECC modules including HCM and Finance.

Security:

  • Security role and user administration in SAP Netweaver Portal, SAP ECC, SAP SRM and SAP BW/4HANA.
  • Design and administration of Single Sign On solutions in on-premise and cloud identity/service providers using SAML, Kerberos and OAuth protocols.
  • Support security aspects of Robotic Process Automation.
  • SAP security auditing expertise.
  • Knowledge of Essential 8 and general cyber security aspects of SAP on-premise and cloud landscapes.

Strategic:

  • General SAP solution architecture skills.
  • Understanding of the SAP roadmap for on-premise and cloud solutions including S/4HANA, SuccessFactors and Business Technology Platform.

Location: Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane

Salary: AU$131,113 - AU$153,639 plus up to 15.4% superannuation

Tenure: Indefinite

To be considered you will need:

  • Minimum 15years experience working as a technical consultant in the SAP landscape with demonstrated experience of cross-functional understanding of ECC modules including HCM and Finance.
  • Demonstrated experience with current UI technologies such as WebDynpro ABAP and emerging technologies such as Fiori and Screen Personas.
  • Demonstrated experience of administration, monitoring and enhancements of the Employee Self Service Portal in SAP Netweaver including integrations with backend systems such as SAP ECC, SAP SRM, SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Business Objects and SAP Analytic Cloud.

  • Demonstrated experience in security auditing and knowledge of Cyber Security principles including Essential 8 for on-premise and cloud landscapes.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing future state architecture for on-premise and cloud solutions including S/4HANA, SuccessFactors and Business Technology Platform.
  • Demonstrated experience in performing system upgrades

Desirable:

  • Demonstrated experience of supporting security aspects of Robotic Process Automations
