Reporting to the HR Operations Head of Payroll APAC, as the Senior Payroll Specialist, you will ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, compliance with regulations, and act as a liaison with employees and third-party vendors.
Process accurate and timely payrolls including deductions, allowances, one time payments, director’s salaries, GL reporting, redundancies calculations inpats/expats calculations, submitting payments through HSBC, supporting payroll queries including Defined benefits and super capping.
Identify process gaps, process redundancies and proposes enhancements to the payroll processes in consultation with the stakeholders. Ensure process maps and documentation are updated on a regular basis.
Define Payroll systems requirements through partnership with HR Specialists, Global Mobility, Finance, Business Process Owners, BT and the HRSC teams.
Validate that the payroll process is in compliance with all federal/state, and regulatory requirements. Reviews payroll policies/ procedures and ensure that the payroll calendars and processing schedules are consistent with organizational policies.
Support the team to ensure CSL is complying with the obligations in accordance with Legislation/ EA. Keep all key stakeholders informed of status of the initiatives and liaise between IT, HR Systems, and business to ensure solutions meet scope and requirements.
Payroll reconciliations and Month end processing for Finance and other key stakeholders
Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred).
7+ years of experience in payroll, with a strong understanding of end-to-end payroll processing.
Proficiency in payroll systems, with experience in Kronos and Workday preferred; Ramco experience is an added advantage.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel.
