What You'll Do

Reporting to the General Manager - Finance, Sustainability & Portfolio Governance, you will play a crucial role in ensuring appropriate frameworks, functions and processes that guide portfolio management activities at HCF. Partnering with senior executives and cross-functional stakeholders, you will play a critical role in driving transparency, prioritisation and value realisation across the enterprise

  • Accountable for the development and communication of the EPG vision and strategy to stakeholders at all levels within the organisation.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive portfolio roadmap that aligns with the organization's strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with senior management to align projects with business strategy and objectives.
  • Ensure all projects and programs within the portfolio support business goals and deliver expected outcomes.
  • Facilitate sessions with senior leadership to identify and prioritise portfolio initiatives.
  • Work with their Manager to assess and decide on which proposals have the highest potential value, impact and strategic alignment.
  • Accountable for the development, implementation, establishment and enforcement of robust governance frameworks, policies and procedures to ensure effective portfolio management.
  • Provide guidance and support to various stakeholders in adhering to governance requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices in portfolio governance.
  • Accountable for the facilitation of project reviews and approvals through stages / phases, including project implementation reviews at the conclusion of a project to Steering Committee meetings and Enterprise Portfolio Governance meetings.
  • Accountable for managing Enterprise Portfolio Governance meeting and Steering Committee meetings, from designing material and content, compiling and distribution papers etc. This will include but not limited to funding approval requests, project status, risk & issue identification, mitigation and reporting of etc.
  • Manage interdependencies and coordination across the portfolio to ensure that information relating to project deliverables, risks and issues are effectively communicated between stakeholders, interdependencies managed and that key performance indicators are monitored and evaluate.

About You

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in portfolio management, project management, or a related discipline, with a proven track record of managing complex portfolios.
  • Strong understanding of governance frameworks, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication skills, interpersonal skills and management skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels, cultivate and maintain relationships (internally and externally).
  • Extensive experience developing and implementing company-wide business governance frameworks, processes and procedures.
  • High-level organisation skills including well-developed priority-setting skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
