Marketing Manager


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Manager – PHI to join our team on a 12 month contract. This role is responsible for identifying, developing, and driving lead generation efforts to meet the company’s growth and product divisional objectives. You will deliver marketing campaigns through cross-functional engagement, ongoing monitoring, and optimisation to drive acquisition marketing outcomes.

About the role

As the Marketing Manager – PHI, you will lead the development and execution of marketing strategies and plans across PHI campaigns, using sound logic, rationale, and supporting data to build long-term brand equity and drive profitable sales growth. You will implement and manage effective campaigns through a solid understanding of channel and project management, maintaining a strategic understanding of business growth priorities and challenges. Your role includes facilitating, interpreting, and evaluating sales, financial, consumer, and brand health information to identify opportunities, overcome issues, and develop strategic recommendations. You will work closely with Senior Managers and the broader marketing team to support planning and implementing marketing calendars for the year. Additionally, you will redefine and optimise marketing activities and materials, support advertising initiatives, track and report on campaign performance, and ensure brand and compliance of all marketing initiatives.

About you

You will have tertiary qualifications in communications or advertising/marketing or related fields, with a strong background in marketing, campaign and media planning, and creative production processes across offline and online. With 5 or more years of experience in a senior marketing role and agency management experience, you have strong attention to detail and the ability to nuance messaging of complex topics for different audiences. You are results-driven, a champion of the brand, and adept at balancing multiple responsibilities simultaneously. Your exceptional relationship-building and influencing skills enable you to interact effectively and build strong relationships with peers, managers, and general managers of business units. You are flexible, creative, respect confidentiality, and can work under pressure to tight deadlines. High-level written and verbal communication skills, budgeting, and reporting experience are essential. Desirable skills include excellent copywriting, experience in heavily regulated environments such as finance and insurance, and previous experience working on marketing automation platforms
