Exciting Opportunity for Optometry Students!
Are you an Optometry student with a passion for eyewear fashion and a love for working with people? Join our dynamic team and work closely with our experienced Optometrists and Dispensers! You'll assist patients in selecting the perfect frames, interpret optical prescriptions, and provide top-notch customer service. This is a fantastic casual role with flexible hours, but you must be available to work on Saturdays and travel to various HCF Eyecare Centres around Sydney as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret optical prescriptions
- Provide fashion and practical advice to help customers choose frames
- Manage patient care
- Assist on reception when required
- Keep patient records up to date
About You: Ideally, you're a second or third-year Optometry student with some optical experience. You must be available to work on Saturdays and during university holidays. You have:
- Experience in a customer-facing role
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a team environment
- A passion for fashion and optometry
- A positive attitude and a proactive approach to work
