Production Planner


Your Opportunity

Are you ready to make an impact and do of work that matters? We are looking for a Production Planner who shares our dedication and drive to join our dynamic scheduling team. Reporting to the Site Scheduling Lead and based at our Broadmeadows site, you will help ensure our production activities align with customer and global supply requirements and our business objectives.

You will have a strong grasp of inventory management, excellent attention to detail, and great planning skills coupled and sound knowledge of sales and operations planning.

Your Role

  • Develop and publish facility Production Plans for the assigned product/value streamthat delivers on time the Global supply requirements, whilst optimising the plant capacity and resourcing.
  • Manage the integrated business planning system to ensure the ERP system accurately reflects the production schedule and inventory requirements, and accurate planning master data.
  • Support the preparation and reporting of Site Supply metrics to provide visibility on performance and reliability of supply.
  • Develop and execute action plans in coordination with various stakeholders to reduce lead times and resolve schedule conflicts.
  • Coordinate performance and material usage reports and long-range manufacturing and purchase plans for management review.
  • Oversea shipments to production facilities; manage activities to expedite disposition of quarantined and rejected inventories following established procedures.

Your experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in supply chain, planning, manufacturing, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience with SAP or equivalent ERP systems ideally in a GMP environment (Pharma/Food).
  • Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in detailed planning and scheduling environments.
