Reporting to the Senior Commercial Manager – Snowy 2.0, this role plays a pivotal part in supporting the Commercial function by conducting detailed forecast data analysis, implementing data integration and visualisation tools, and providing strategic insights to inform decision-making across the project.
The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in business intelligence and financial systems, advanced forecasting and analytical skills, and proven experience within large infrastructure projects. Working closely with the Snowy 2.0 Head Works Contractor and cross-functional teams, the successful candidate will contribute to driving project outcomes and ensuring commercial success.
This position is based in Cooma, and candidates are encouraged to relocate, with Snowy Hydro offering a comprehensive relocation package. Alternatively, a FIFO 5:2 roster to Cooma is available for the right candidate.
A background in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, or a related field, with experience supporting major infrastructure projects. You're skilled in construction cost management software, project forecasting, and financial systems, with a strong ability to analyse large data sets.
Proficient in Power BI and other visualisation tools, you can clearly communicate technical insights to a variety of stakeholders. You use technology to automate workflows and improve efficiency, and you build strong relationships across commercial and finance teams. CA, CPA, or CFA qualifications are highly regarded.
