About the position:

We are seeking a Security Analyst based in either Sydney or Cooma, NSW to join our small team of Cyber Security Experts. In this role you will provide security advice to the business and protect Snowy systems against cyber security threats.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cyber Security Management - Utilising a range of security technologies with an emphasis on Vulnerability Management, SOC monitoring and Incident Response.
  • Compliance and governance monitoring with internal cybersecurity policies and standards
  • Document, assess and remediate cyber risks identified through security reviews and audits
  • Assist with the delivery of cyber security awareness programs
  • Collaborate with project teams to deploy security solutions for IT and Operational Technology (OT) environments

About the location:

This position can be located in either Sydney or Cooma in the Snowy Mountains and Snowy Hydro are able to assist suitable candidates with relocation, if required.

About you:

  • Minimum 2-3 years experience working with cyber security technologies, in particular Vulnerability Management, SOC monitoring and Incident Response
  • Working knowledge of Industry cybersecurity frameworks and privacy acts
  • Proven experience working with networking, operating systems and cloud technologies
  • Ability to investigate security incidents, analyse and interpret data.
  • A strong drive for results, along with the ability to build strong relationships and communicate with all levels of the organisation
  • You will work in a collaborative environment but will also need the ability to work autonomously - so Agility is a must!
