Snowy 2.0, the largest renewable energy initiative in the country, is a groundbreaking expansion of the iconic Snowy Scheme. Focused on delivering on-demand power and extensive storage capacity, this project is leading the way towards a sustainable, low-carbon future.
Based in Cooma with regular site visits, this position will strengthen the Project Acceleration team’s capacity and capability. The team is responsible for driving efficiency improvements with the main contractor. The goal is to collaboratively develop and implement initiatives that enhance productivity and mitigate schedule risks across key work fronts in the construction of Snowy 2.0, with particular emphasis on the underground power station.

Extensive experience as a consultant in power stations (preferred) and water infrastructure, with a proven track record of driving productivity improvements in large energy infrastructure projects. You bring in-depth knowledge and expertise in power generation, large-scale infrastructure projects, including hydropower, as well as a solid background in procurement, construction, and commissioning. Your experience includes navigating commercial aspects between clients, EPC contractors, and subcontractors to successfully drive change. Holding a Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Energy) and relevant certifications in data analysis and change management, you are well-equipped to contribute effectively to the success of energy projects.
