Location: Surry Hills Health Centre

Are you passionate about dental care and looking to join a dynamic and friendly team? We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and compassionate Senior Dental Receptionist to join our practice.
About the Role
We are looking for a customer focused individual, to join the front of house team in the dental stream of our multi-disciplinary Health Centre. Ideally you will come from a dental background with approximately 3 years’ experience managing the front of house operations of a dental clinic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the daily activities of reception to ensure administrative efficiency and smooth delivery of customer service
- Oversee the strategic management of the appointment scheduler
- Provide an excellent level of customer service to patients, potential patients, other employees, and Teachers Health Fund members
- Contribute to the effective operations of the Health Centres including supporting other Dental Receptionists as required
- Schedule and confirm appointments for patients and oversee the management of online booking scheduling
- Provide accurate and timely information to patients, within the scope of the dental operations of the THF Health Centre
- Record financial information & report generation for the Surry Hills Health Centre
- Assist in the onboarding, training and upskilling of reception team members
- Co-ordinate documentation (provider number, HICAPS and Oasis set up) & orientation programme for new dentists
What we are looking for:
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Dental Receptionist or experience with managing front of house operations of a dental clinic
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Office products
- Great time management skills and ability to multi-task
- Demonstrated proficiency and experience with Oasis
- Dental Assisting Cert III or equivalent
