Contract Manager / Project Manager - Operations & Maintenance


About the Role
Due to an internal promotion, we are seeking an O&M Project Manager who will be responsible for the safety, financial and operational delivery requirements of the (EAS) Emergency Alert Systems and other works as required.

This includes leading a team to achieve common goals, ensuring SLA performance measures are obtained, quoting and completing scope variations, building on a solid client relationship and further improving team cohesion.

This role is full time permanent engagement based out of our Cremorne (Richmond) office offering a hybrid working model.

Other Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide oversight and governance for daily EAS team operations ensuring compliance to key contractual SLA measures.
  • Develop and review project management plans and associated documentation.
  • Procurement and negotiations with suppliers and client to obtain project goals.
  • Run/attend client and supplier meetings to obtain project goals.
  • Deliver against revenue and margin targets.
  • Assist and resolve any items escalated by the EAS team and the customer.
  • Assist in securing additional revenue (growth) through existing and new clients.

About You
To be successful in this role you experience as a Project Manager or Management in Operations and Management (O&M) of radio and/or paging telecommunications networks accompanied with:

  • Experience with different technologies inc paging, voice radio, microwave, satellite or similar
  • Liaising and managing in an emergency services / Critical Service environment
  • Demonstrated delivery to stringent SLA measures
  • Customer facing service delivery roles
  • Qualifications in Engineering and Project Management
  • Commercial and contracts acumen
  • Self-motivated and outcome focus
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
