Customer Attendant


The Role
You will be a key member of our stores and warehousing team in supporting Ventia’s Defence National Clothing Store Services contract in Amberley, QLD. This role is perfect for an enthusiastic team player with a strong customer focus and excellent communication skills.

  • 7.30am - 4pm Monday to Thursday and Early Knock Off at 2pm on Fridays

Your role will involve:

  • Receive, check and acquit stores under supervision
  • Stock packing and preparation for despatch
  • Assist with kit issues for customers
  • Inspect and accept return items
  • Manual handling using various methods

Key skills & Attributes:

  • Previous customer service /warehouse/ retail duties
  • Drivers Licence and own transport required
  • Forklift Licence would be desirable
  • Basic understanding with computers required 
  • Work in a Team / Customer Service environment
  • High attention to detail, accuracy and time management
  • Scheduling workloads and meeting production deadlines

 Must be eligible to hold a Defence baseline security clearance. As a result of this requirement, the applicant must be an Australian Citizen.
