Electrical Construction Supervisor


The Role:
Ventia
is looking to engage an Electrical Construction Supervisor, specialising in Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), to join our Venture Smart team. This role will see you responsible for overseeing the on-site installation, integration, and commissioning of electrical and ITS assets for our WA based clients across metro and regional WA. This role requires strong technical expertise in electrical systems and ITS technologies, as well as proven leadership in construction supervision.


This is a full-time permanent role, and will see you based in Jandakot, WA.


The salary package for this role will be from $134,500 to $152,000 per year plus super, based on experience.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Preparation & delivery of minor capital works projects across Main Roads WA assets
  • Participate in daily pre-start meetings & safety toolbox talks
  • Managing the day-to-day operations of the team
  • Supervision of the direct workforce, subcontractors & management of Foremen & Leading Hands
  • Ensure Venture Smart optimises efficiencies and delivers projects in a safe and productive manner
  • Manage operational & client priorities to meet budgets and deadlines 


Requirements:

  • Trade Certificate – Cert III Electrotechnology Electrician
  • Driver’s Licence
  • WA Grade A Electrical Licence
  • Provide First Aid
  • CPR + LVR
  • Prior work history in a brownfields environment
  • Experience with HIABS, Dogging, Civil & Plant equipment – Highly regarded
