P & C Coordinator

About the role:
Ventia’s contract for the Department of Justice are seeking an engaging and supportive People & Capability Coordinator to join the Court Security & Custodial Services (CS&CS) team based in Canning Vale.   

The People & Capability (P&C) Coordinator is responsible for the delivery of operational support to the business through the provision of advice and services supporting day to day management of teams.  In addition, this role works in collaboration with the P&C Business Partner to ensure support is provided to the contract in line with appropriate people practices.

Key duties but not limited to:

  • Managing of employee working permits 
  • Management of local dashboard and reporting of disciplinary matters
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders 
  • Maintain a working knowledge of the legal requirements of day-to-day employee
  • management. 
  • Provide advice on performance management issues and work closely with local
  • management and P&C Business Partner where required to resolve

Skills and experience required:

  • Strong attention to detail and knowledge of confidentiality responsibilities
  • Previous HR Administrative and Excel spreadsheets experience 
  • Cert IV in Human Resources or higher (highly regarded but  not essential)
  • Demonstrated understanding of industrial landscape and ability to interpret EA’s
  • Review, interpretation and application of Policy and Procedure into live workplace
  • management matters
