Project Coordinator
Gold Coast Infrastructure Solutions (GCIS) is a Joint Venture between Ventia and Downer.
GCIS partners with the City of Gold Coast’s Water and Waste division to maintain, renew, and improve essential infrastructure under the Asset Lifecycle Delivery Service (ALDS) program. We are committed to delivering exceptional outcomes through collaboration, innovation, and operational excellence.
About the Role
Reporting to the Delivery Manage, the Project Coordinator supports the Operations Delivery teams in managing multi-disciplinary projects. As part of this role, you will assist in data management, project documentation, on-site coordination, reporting, and various project controls to ensure seamless project delivery. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including subcontractors and suppliers, to ensure quality outcomes and maintain project budgets and timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Operations Delivery teams with multi-disciplinary project delivery.
- Manage project data and develop and maintain project status reports.
- Support the coordination of on-site activities related to project tasks.
- Monitor and report on project performance and progress.
- Review and assess subcontractor claims, reports, and deliverables.
- Aid in project cost capture, scheduling, and work order management.
- Provide support in estimating processes, project controls, and project budget development.
- Ensure timely and accurate cost reporting and forecasting.
- Develop strong relationships with subcontractors, delivery partners, and key stakeholders.
About You
- Previous project coordination experience, particularly in delivering Design and Construct projects.
- Strong financial management skills, including budgeting and reporting.
- Proven ability to develop and manage project schedules.
- Effective stakeholder engagement with internal teams, clients, and external partners.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to adapt and work flexibly in complex environments with multiple stakeholders.
