TAR - QC E&I Specialist


  • Commencing June | FIFO from Perth | LNG Barrow Island   
  • Contract role running for 2 weeks (dependant on scope of work)
  • Casual all-inclusive (inclusive of super & casual loading): $111.50p/h 

The Role

Ventia are seeking an experienced and qualified E&I QA / QC Specialist to work on our Chevron contract. Reporting to the QA / QC Manager, this position will see you responsible for ensuring Project and Maintenance works are carried out in accordance with management accepted practices. You will also be reviewing completed scopes of work, supporting the QA Lead with audits, investigations, and quality reporting.

Duties will include but not limited to:

  • Review and verify work orders/packs to ensure accuracy, completion and compliance with industry best practice, Australian standards, and client specifications
  • Verify completed scope meets required acceptance criteria and is compliant with client specifications and Australian Standards
  • Support QA Lead in conducting audits, inspections, and quality reporting as required
  • Assist with identification, investigation, and advice regarding discipline specific NCRs
  • Support management of hazardous area deliverables
  • Provide advice on regulatory and statutory requirements
  • Provide technical guidance & training to execution teams including both campaign maintenance and the TAR (Turnaround) Teams
  • Ability to effectively liaise with multiple stakeholders

Skills & Experience:

  • WA Grade A Electrical License
  • EEHA Qualification
  • Certificate IV Electrical Instrumentation
  • Previous E&I technical and/or QA/QC experience, within oil and gas preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail, verbal and written communication
