About the role
An opportunity to progress to the next stage as a Senior Water Operator, based in scenic Dongara, the best place for surfing, body boarding, kite surfing and stand-up paddle boarding, plus a peaceful lifestyle.
The is a permanent role assisting the Team Leader in the operation and maintenance of the water supply and wastewater schemes within the Mid West Region.

What you can expect with this role
- Participating in safe job planning, team meetings and workplace inspections.
- Demonstrating leadership by ensuring that all work is undertaken with safety as the first priority in the provision of a work environment where no injury is considered acceptable and all activities are undertaken without compromising health and safety.
- Operating, maintaining, monitoring and repairing water and wastewater assets, operational sites and public facilities as required.
- Participating in standby, overtime and call out availability rosters as required.
Your skills and experience
For this role, we are looking for great talent with:
- A reasonably high degree of leadership and planning skills
- Certificate III in NWP, as a miniumum
- Minimum 2 years at Operator Level 4
- Water Sampler Qualification
- Confined space, SCBA and/or gas monitoring certifications desirable
- Ability to work on a standby roster
